Our company, Pavlides Marble, anounces with great pleasure the participation to the exhibition Made in Cyprus.
World Trade Center Cyprus is organising the 2nd Exhibition “Made in Cyprus”, which serves the purpose of promoting and advertising the products and services of Cyprus. The exhibition is being held under the auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism and with the support of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) and the Municipality of Limassol.

BLOCKS is a transdisciplinary endeavour investigating the aesthetic conditions that arise from the intersection of digital mediation and artistic discourse. The exhibition brings together selected cypriot and international artists of divergent artistic domains, to present a collection of brand new works that will explore the “geography” of robotic fabrication technologies and contemporary art.
As subtly insinuated by the title, the material that ties together these commissioned works is the enduring weight of solid marble. Through robotics, material variation and manipulation of sculptural forms, the questions addressed by the exhibition extend far beyond the digital and delve into the post-digital, critically reflecting on the emergence of new methodologies and transdisciplinary approaches.
